Up for bids this fabulous, vintage, "beaver bone" walking stick. Made from an antique, cast iron, ball & claw foot {ca. 1890} and a stick which was cut, trimmed and debarked by active beaver (winter food source). Mike has used this stick for 50 years when he went arrow head collecting out in the field. He explains a strange thing... "as birds fly... they make droppings... those droppings look just like Flint Ridge Material (flint-stone) from Southern Ohio... if you bend over to check {what looks like stone} you stick your finger directly into the bird dropping!!! however, if you use a stick, this problem is avoided {and you save your back from stooping down all the time}!"Winning bidder pays just 9.75 toward the cost of delivery in the Continental U.S.. Any other shipping destination additional at Buyers Expense {email for a quote if you live outside the Continental U.S. and want to bid}. This walking stick is about 42" Long and also has the weight to make it an excellent shillelagh! If you are the lucky winner... Please Pay... If you use "eBay's check out"; Please Do Not Forget The Shipping! In doubt? Please let me send you an invoice. Use PayPal or check... Items are held until check clears.
