In 2018, the Oakland A's celebrated the 50th anniversary of their arrival in Oakland back in 1968. This included the introduction of an Oakland A's Hall of Fame to honor the best players and impactful personnel such as managers and owners. The inaugural class included Major League Baseball Hall of Famers Dennis Eckersley, Rolling Fingers, Rickey Henderson, Jim Catfish Hunter and Reggie Jackson, the owner who brought them to Oakland Charlie Finley, and fan favorite and 20-game winner for 4 consecutive seasons with the A's Dave Stewart. To honor them further, this plaque up for auction here was distributed to fans the day of the induction ceremony as a stadium giveaway item. The plaque is in the same, like-new condition as the day it was received. The box itself may have one small nick on the lid - very minor and barely noticeable. E-mail me with any questions.Charity auction: 100% of the winning bid amount will be donated to the Alameda County Community Food Bank during these difficult times. Check out my other auctions (mostly Giants & A's bobbleheads) to support this cause.
