Offering a vintage dinnerware dish by NORITAKE, OLANTA pattern, period of time 1930's, described as follows: This is a round tureen dish, probably referred to as a serving dish for vegetables, or a casserole dish, with a cover. Edge, or rim, is decorated with Blue Rectangles or Vertical Rods, against a black background, with pink rose encased by gold colored scrolls. Also lid edge and bowl edge have gold gilt trim, and bowl has open handles with gold trim. Bottom of bowl has stamp NORITAKE M MADE IN JAPAN OLANTA U.S. DESIGN PAT. APPLIED FOR. Minor aging, otherwise good. T is a chip on the inside of the lid, under the rim. T are no cracks in the bowl or lid. Very nice piece to add to a collection of Noritake.
