Newcomb College Pottery from 1910 by Sadie Irvine. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.Cute little piece of Newcomb art pottery. It has the registration mark for 1910, the script mark of Sadie Irvine, a "K" which could possibly be a variation of Roberta Kennon's mark, and a lightly impressed Newcomb College mark. The "N" is not really visible and the bottom of the "C" is a little weak. There is no appearance of grinding over the mark that would indicate a second. It's just a weak mark. The vase measures 3 7/16 inches tall and 4 1/8 inches wide. It is decorated with what appear to be lilies on a picket fence. The slip decoration is very heavy and there is a nice three dimensional effect along the top of the fence. There are no chips, cracks, or repairs.Buyers with extremely low feedback or negative feedback from other sellers might have their bids cancelled.I will ship within 72 hours of the close of the auction. Most likely, it will go out the next day.
