I purchased this turquoise ram fetish on eBay in February 2002. The seller said she purchased the piece 20 years previously from a trading company that was going out of business (Sinagua Trading Post - located between the Grand Canyon and Winslow, AZ). The eyes are unfinished, but are drilled in a way that looks like they were to be completed with beads. This made me think the piece was Navajo, but I’m no expert. I just really loved the carving!Dimensions: 2 3/8” long, 1 3/4” tall, 1” wide.Printouts of the 2002 eBay auction and my email with the seller will also be sent to the auction winner.Thank you for looking, and please contact me if you have questions!***Note: any minor imperfections in the stone are natural and/or a reflection of the carving process.
