This is a True 1st ed. It is #15 in the series as listed on the copyright page. This is one of the hardest book to find as a true 1st. and with a Dust Jacket. The Boards are so nice and bright and clean. Only a little crimping to the very top and bottom to the spine. There is a slight brown staining to the very top of the first few pages and 3 slight brown stains to 3 of the back pages. The book still looks good. The good new is that there is a true 1st ed. DJ. The bad news is that there is chipping to some of the top of the DJ, along the edges of the spine and then a large piece is missing at the very right side on the lower of the Front DJ. None of this affects the artwork of the DJ. I loved reading the blurbs on the back of the back coming from the likes of Dashiell Hammett, Erskine Caldwell, Dorothy Parker and F. Scott Fitzgerald. This book transports you to a young "Gold Rush" that Hollywood was at the time.
