The "Big Horn" Elk Hide Sheath and Knife.....Custom double layered aged elk hide knife sheath and knife, made from 100% elk hide sheath with buckskin (deer) fringes, and lacing, 1/2" buckskin lacing around entire sheath, for strength and durability, with buckskin knife, leg, and belt loop tie-downs, beaded 2 1/2" thunderbird rosette with hairpipe beads, solid brass and glass indian crow beads, and buckskin wrapped imitation eagle feather attached to sheath. The knife blade is a "Green River Works" by Russell, U.S. made, high carbon, ultra sharp, 9" butcher style (favored style by tribesmen and early settlers) the knife is identical to the ones the early settlers would have carried. 5" blade, with a 4" buckskin wrapped red oak handle, brass tack secured to top of knife handle.
