This straight razor is tang marked âeoeFREDRICKâe(tm)S CELEBRATED RAZOR SHEFFIELD.âe It measures a tad over 6.25 inches overall, with the blade measuring about 3.25 inches. The blade back is thick (.0228 inches). The scales are what appears to be, a translucent mottled horn. Under a loop, the edges have the tiny lateral crack-lines, as horn should. T are no other major cracks or clips that I can see. In the photo it looks like a crack near the bottom just above the pin; but that is actually the metal spacer showing though the scale. T are some small imperfections and t as with any horn piece. The metal is stained, but overall very nice. The box is marked âeoeGREAVES & SONS SHEAF WORKS SHEFFIELDâe and Iâe(tm)m not sure if the box is original to the razor or not. The two w paired together when I got them.
