Motawi Tile Songbird Pendant in Midnight (Turquoise with Black Songbird) Silver Jewelry by Jae Salvage Motawi Tileworks has joined with jewelry designer, Jae Salvage, to create a collection of jewelry inspired by the Arts and Crafts Period. Known for her attention to fine detail, Jae Salvage has rendered the trademark Motawi style in wearable art. Pendants have a shiny silver finish and are made of nickel plated die cast zinc. Each pendant is carefully painted with enamel in the traditional Motawi Tileworks colorway. Pendant Measures approximately 1 1/4" x 3/4" and comes on a 17" black leather cord with 2" chain extender. It is quite beautiful and this colorway has been the bestseller. The Songbird was originally designed by Talwin Morris. Morris was the art director for Blackie & Sons publishers in Glasgow Scotland from 1893 to 1911. He was also a close associate of Charles Rennie Mackintosh.
