Morning Glory shape White Ironstone Sauce Tureen without its lid. It was made by Elsmore and Forster. The tureen is unmarked. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. It is shown in Jeanne Weatherbee’s book, on page 126. She says that Morning Glory is “the most collectible floral design.” The tureen has great looks with a rich glaze and excellent potting. T are a few light utensil marks on the interior bottom. It is approximately 8” handle-to-handle x 4 1/2" tall; the rim’s outside dimensions are 5 7/8” x 4 1/2".
