Hi Welcome to our auction. We are selling our moon phase mantle clock with the original key. I think the case is mahogany although it could be rosewood. I have tried to show an example of the veneer in the photos. The clock is undamaged and is in full working order. We inherited it from family members and have owned it for about 10 years. I dont know how long they had it prior to that but not being a clock expert would say that it isn't antique but may be 20-25 years old? It stands about 14 inches high including the top ring. It as a full Westminster chime which chimes every 15 minutes (same as big ben) followed by hours chime on the hour. I would much prefer that the buyer collected the clock as I cannot guarentee that it will arrive completely undamaged in Royal Mail. That said if the buyer wants it posted I will do it, packaging it up as safely as I can. I would much prefer that it was collected though, it would be a big shame if it got damaged. If it helps I spend half my week in London SW1 and half in and around the Windsor area. I would be happy to meet up somewhere around these places if this suited the buyer.
