He worked with Ed Weiner in the 1940s producing functional objects of brass and copper. When a calling to jewelry beckoned, around 1953, Mr Brenner worked and sold his products out of New York, N.Y. studios, first at 127 McDougal Street then at 8282 Lexington Ave . Later in his life, around 1973, he closed his New York store and moved to Provincetown, R.I. thereby retiring from producing his work. While Mr. Brenner produced a large quantity of jewelry during his heydey, the sudden surge in price of silver during the 80s as well as the 2000s led to a great many of his pieces being scrapped for silver content. Therefore, his jewelry in this day and age is somewhat difficult to find.Anyone want?(ry)LOW OPENING BID and NO RESERVE!****************** read more
