LOT 103Seller's Estimate: USD 5,000 - 7,500Austrian Miniature Weight Driven Biedermeier Regulator w/ Alarm. 6 in. porcelain dial signed “Anton List, In Wien”, has black Roman hour numerals, blued minute & hour hands and silvered alarm indicator, engine turned gilt brass bezel; brass 8 day weight driven movement with Graham deadbeat escapement, maintaining power, long steel pendulum rod with a brass covered bob, brass covered weight with 4 spoke brass pulley; has a spring driven alarm mechanism with pull string wind, strikes on a steel bell at the top of the movement. In a mahogany case with striped maple inlays and brass leveling screws. Case has an old French polished finish, repair to the lower left corner of the door frame, small veneer repair at the joint of the rear lower-left side, backboard is bowed about .25 of an inch in the center; dial is very nice with no hairlines. 27 in. high x 9.5 in. wide x 4.5 in. deep.
