Lacewood Humidoor, Like New Condition!!!Also known as Silky Oak, it grows in the northern state of Queensland, Australia and in Brazil. It has a light pinkish tan color containing small flakes of grains and is similar to a snakeskin in appearance and texture. It is a soft to medium dense hardwood; very easy to machine and sand. However due to limited supply it has become very expensive and most importers do not stock it.
