1987 Reed & Barton Sterling Christmas Cross Medallion Ornament PendantNice Condition ~ Limited Edition ~ Hard To FindDesign for the 1987 Reed & Barton seventeenth annual Limited Edition Christmas Cross in gleaming sterling silver was inspired by the ancient stone sculptures of the 6th Century Byzantine period. It is a foliated design from St. Sophia, Constantinople, one of the most beautiful churches in the world. This lovely cross pendant ornament is in nice, lightly used condition. It is complete with the sterling bale so it can be worn as a pendant or hung from your Christmas tree or wreath.Cross may exhibit very minor surface scratches from use and polishing, however there are no dents, dings, bangs, scrapes or bends in this lovely piece. This comes complete with original box and tarnish resistant pouch, but NO romance card. May require proper polishing upon receipt depending on your preferences.Reed & Barton sold out to Lenox in June of 2015. As a result, the following series are no longer in production: Sterling Angel, Santa, Williamsburg and Pierced Cross as well as the Silverplate Cross and Snowflake.
