The tri-color cover is printed on 80# card stock and protected with a vinyl sheet. The text is printed on 8.5" x 11" 60# opaque paper. The booklet also includes a history of Isle Royale County, which was separated from Keweenaw in 1875. Isle Royale is made up of several islands in Lake Superior. Among the subjects included are: Overview of location, county officials, etc; Courts; Extensive information on Mines and Miners --primarily copper; Churches; Mining Villages of Copper Harbor, Eagle Harbor; Eagle River, Delaware, Copper Falls, Central, Phoenix, Allouez, Agate Harbor; and other interesting bits of history and trivia.
