Metal Mania #17 Metallica, Motorhead, English Dogs, Mentors, Suicidal Tendencies, SOD, Blind Illusion, Spastik Children, Adrenalin OD, OverkillMetal Mania was an 80s Bay Area underground zine devoted to Metal! Started August 1981 it's 22 issues ran thru 1987 when it evolved into a Video Metal zine (Video Mania) and local TV show (Media Mania) from 1988-92. Created by Ron Quintana who originally wanted to call the Zine "Metallica," but was persuaded by one Lars Ulrich to call it "Metal Mania" instead, for reasons which are now obvious. Metal Mania was one of the first American Heavy Metal zines to feature Metallica, Exodus, Mercyful Fate, Yngwie J Malmsteen, Motorhead, and Saxon.This is a part of a group of magazines I am selling off in one shot, feel free to browse my other items. I do not have multiple copies so this is a good chance to pick up some rare items which rarely see the light of day anymore.
