1.25" with Brunt, San Francisco back paper. Character (who is similar to George Cruikshank's Mr. Punch) emerges from the top of a very large tomato and holds what appears to be a bread loaf in one hand and in the other a short baton topped by a cartoon face and pair of tassels. Tiny, light and widely scattered scratches mostly just seen with magnification. High gloss and Exc. Two known with our one previous exceeding $900.00. Rare and a striking image.
