Offering for bid is this large oil painting of The Meet at the Manor (Fox Hunt) framed and signed. It is signed Farmer in the corner. This scene was first painted in 1908 and this is a copy of the original. I took it to the Frame Co. that framed it and he advised me that it is indeed an oil and not a lithograph painted. He said he framed it for an English gent about 18 years ago, he remembers the style of the frame. Large: 43" wide x 31 1/4" The framer said the frame would cost about $400.00 today to frame � I have just listed another Fox Hunt picture by the same artist, smaller. � I will combine auctions to save on shipping or return funds if shipping costs are less that estimated.
