Since it is so pretty, maybe you just want it sitting on your desk or bookcase looking pretty. Mine held my business cards on my desk. Then too, it will also hold a bouquet with frog, a little ball of wire or floral foam. It will become a highly used bowl in your home because of its versatility. The black line is McCarty's trademark; it represents the Mississippi River, and it is on most of their nutmeg pieces and some of the colored ones. This bowl is 3" tall and 5" in diameter. These bowls are dishwasher safe, so do use them frequently. Each piece of pottery is unique. All McCarty pottery is crafted by hand from Mississippi mud.
