This is the 18th release in the University of Racing series and they have done another unbelievable job of producing a beautiful collectable.Marvin Panch started his racing career on the west coast as team owner.He found he had a natural talent for racing when his driver didn't show up one race and he raced his car himself to a third place finish. His career really took off when he won the Daytona 500 for Smokey Yunick in 1961 and then raced for the Wood Brothers from 1962-1966 where he won 8 races and 30 top 3 finishes in 69 races. He won his last race driving for Lee Petty at the Charlotte 600 in 1966.This car features an all metal diecast chassis, opening hood and trunk, Wood Brothers competition proven 427 engine, beautiful "candy apple red" custom paint color over the classic '65 Galaxie body style and chrome grill and bumpers.
