MARGATE CLOCKTOWER, Isle of Thanet, KENT by Tony Lampert New original watercolour painting 2014, signed and dated by me on the front and back. I live in Margate where I captured the bus just going up the hill into the town by the Clocktower on the seafront here and thought it would make a nice watercolour scene. No two paintings of mine are the same so you are sure of buying an original work of art. Ideal for framing, painting is on Winsor and Newton A4 - 300g/m2 (140 lb) watercolour paper, using artist's watercolour paints also by Winsor and Newton. Paper measures 11 3/4" x 8 1/2" (29.7x 21cm) and actual image measures 6" wide x 8 1/2" high (15 x 21cm), with a white border. Please note that scanned colours from my Epson printer may vary marginally. About me, my name is Tony Lampert and I studied drawing and painting under the guidance of a well-known Kent artist and teacher at the Thanet Art School in Margate, Kent where I live. I like to draw and paint portraits, animals, birds, plants and landscapes and I have many satisfied ebay customers which can be viewed on my Feedback. My beach hut paintings are inspired by having lived by the sea on the Thanet coast all of my life. I will post painting first class 'signed for' in a board backed envelope for protection.
