Vintage Arts & Crafts MARBLEHEAD ART POTTERYOVOID VASE Incised with Stylized Green Trees & Red FruitMatte BlueThis decorated vase is in excellent condition (see all the pictures below).Note that all the pictures below can be supersized for a closer look.Note also that for the 5th and 6th rows of pictures below, there is a picture for each of the 5 trees arranged around the vase.For the last row of pictures, the vase is rotated 90 degrees clockwise after each picture.The vase measures 7 1/8" in height. It is 4" in diameter at its widest point.The opening is 3 1/4" in diameter. The base is 2 1/2" in diameter.It weighs 1 pound 8.9 ounces.There are no chips or cracks.The outside is in excellent condition with no scratch or scuff marks (see pictures).The inside is also in excellent condition. It has a light greenish glaze.There is a 1/4" area of red glaze on the inside of the lip, from the time of firing.The base has the Marblehead impressed ship mark. It is partly covered by the glaze.It also has the "Marblehead Pottery" paper label.The provenance for this piece is firmly established and will be provided on request.I will give you a discount on the total shipping charge if you win more than one auction.Check out my other auctions .I give positive feedback to all successfully completed transactions.
