For your consideration from a smoke free estate. A beautiful 14" straight leg Madam Alexander doll. Walker turns head easily when legs are moved. I believe her to be from the 50's. Hair is in hair net and a few are out of place. The hair or net are held in place with a metal type hair barrette or comb. This hair ornament does have some light rust (photo 7). Hard plastic head and body no marks that I could read. There maybe something on back of neck but I could not read or verify. I have put a close up of the back of head for you to see (photo 6). No nail polish. Eyes open and close with ease. . I think it is the beautiful Margaret face. We did take here clothes off for pictures. Original outfit: Green pattern dress, off white muslin slip and pantaloons, off white doll socks, black (mary jane) type oil cloth shoes that snap in front, off white doll socks , brown apron. This doll is so clean it does not look as if the clothes have ever been off. But the outfit does have a light brown storage stain. No tears or odor. But again the outfit does have some light brownish stain that does appear pretty true to life in photos 11 & 12. The dress is trimmed with black material that feels like velvet and has a small metal piece with small rhinestone decoration (photo 10). I think this is to represent a locket or cameo. All snaps are present.
