Here is a lovely vintage Polo Ralph Lauren bone china playing card box in the "Clarendon" tartan pattern. Made in England by Wedgwood, it dates to 1989 and is no longer being produced. It measures approximately 6" wide by 4 1/2" deep and 1 3/4" high. The domed lid with the green, blue, black, red and yellow "Clarendon" tartan is edged in gold. The base of the box is edged with braided and buckled horse tack which was a popular Ralph Lauren motif at the time. The interior of the box is divided to hold two decks of playing cards.
