Here is a lovely antique silver and crystal trinket pot by W.J. Myatt & Co Ltd in Birmingham in 1912. This lovely little silver lidded trinket pot has a solid silver lid which has a gilt underside. The lid has a heavily moulded design with a vacant cartouche at the center. There are a couple of areas where the silver is a little misshapen and there are two small holes that are hidden by the design. It is fully hallmarked the first is WJM over &Co into a shield , this is for a Birmingham silversmith W J Myatt & Co Ltd. It is followed by the Birmingham anchor and the lion for silver, the year letter is ‘n’ for 1912. The crystal pot is beautifully faceted so that it catches the light wonderfully. The glass in undamaged. This little pot is being offered in used antique condition, it is about 6cm in diameter and 5cm tall, it weighs 150g. A lovely collectable.
