This auction is for a wonderful and rare antique silk velvet fragment. It is a very unique and lovely shade of pale peachy pink. This is probably the first time I have ever seen this color and it is so, so pretty. Its pile is close to the surface and it has a cotton base. The velvet is very soft with no stains, tears or rips, however, it does have silk thread wear throughout due to its age. However, this is what makes it so special. One will love it;it is just a really old-fashioned color and simply delightful. If a specific shade is desired or perfection, please think carefully before placing a bid, since all monitors are set differently. This is being sold "As Is".
