LOVELY ANTIQUE ESTATE GAME BIRD HANDLED TRAY PLATTER Description: This auction is for a lovely porcelain handled tray or platter. The platter has a wonderful and very detailed game bird in the center in a field of rich green foliage. The background shades from a blush pink into the blue of the sky. I believe this is hand painted, at least partially but it is difficult to tell for certain. The platter has a delicate embossed scroll design around the inner rim and the outer rim has gold leaf accenting. It has a scalloped and cut design around the outer rim. It measures 11 1/2" from handle to handle. It has no marking on the back. The platter is in very good condition but is a vintage piece and does have wear on the gold on the outer rim. This is a beautifully detailed and richly colored old tray. Thanks for looking.
