Louisa married #1Thomas Crawford, noted sculptor; #2 Luther Terry, painter, Sept. 1861.Autograph letter signed in ink, "Cecilia* Crawford", Creuznack [Germany] 6 August 1861, to Toity (?), 3pp octavo. ( *writer notes that she has dubbed herself "Ceclilia", spirit of music.)Content: Touching, personal content, regarding recovery of her health and young, talented Jenny. (daughter?)Had enjoyable summmer, glad to return to Rome. Photographs - "Isn't Jenny a little beauty", notes her own appearance, "cadaverous specimen." Strength coming back, has been playing game of balls in the very long entry. "Six months ago the first few throws would have finished me." Took 5 1/2 hr walk with her maid.
