Dominick& Haff Sterling silver sugar sifter or confection spoon in OLD STYLE LOUIS XIV pattern. This pattern dates from 1888 and is now a discounted pattern. This is a very nice clean piece. The bowl measures 1-3/4" across and is "" deep. Overall the spoon measures 5-1/2" in length. There is a single H monogram on the handle in fancy font. This is a fine quality silver. D&H operated out of New York. It bears the D&H mark rectangle circle diamond. It is marked STERLING. The retailer was BEGELOW, KENNARD & CO. and it is marked as such on the back of the handle right after the sterling mark. Bigelow & Kennard was a major retailer in Boston, MA which carried high-end quality silver.A stunning gift idea!This is in beautiful 'as found' estate condition and in EXCELLENT condition with no dings, no dents, no bends, no gouges.
