Primitive Wooden TAPS for CASK, BARREL or KEG Lot of four: Very early examples of barrel taps; before cans or bottles, a wooden cask was the mode for package, transport and dispensing a multitude of liquid goods. The Cooper (cask or barrel maker) was an important skilled trade; and the Cooperage was his workshop. This is a rustic lot of four barrel faucets. Primitive antique conditions as pictured, sold as is. These are of a medium size, ranging from 8-1/2" x 4-1/2" to 10-1/4" x 5-1/2".
