BEAUTIFUL, ANTIQUE FISHBONE BOWLS!! The Boch family founded the Longwy manufacture in 1801.Decorative Arts' lovers everyw appreciate the Majolica pieces made in the1920's such as the chocolate Copenhagen pattern featured on eBay. This auction features an unusual,rare fishbone bowl in a fish design. These bowls were used during an elegant meal to hold the bones of fish served during the fish course. Longwy (circa 1920) made this plate in France and would appeal to the Majolica or art deco collector! They are in good to very good condition with minimal wear. One of the bowls has a slight imperfection which appears to have happened during firing, as it is glazed over. It adds a little character to the one bowls actually! These bowls are being auctioned in a set of three(3). They would be great used in conjunction with the dinner plates(which I have on a separate auction) or as little bowls for snacks during a cocktail party!
