13-5/8x22.5" Strathmore artboard features pen and ink original art for page 4 of The Lone Ranger #142, published by Dell Oct.-Nov. 1961. Art is from The Boomerang Trap by longtime Dell Lone Ranger comic artist Tom Gill (1913-2005) and features five panels, showing Lone Ranger and Tonto in every panel. Silver and Scout appear in a few panels as well (last panel shows Silver's "LR" Lone Ranger stirrups). Top margin has inked title and Gill's name and lower left has inked title abbreviation and issue/page numbers. Lower right has handwritten "Gold Key Comics" notation and bottom left has Gill's personal mailing address. Pin holes at top center w/some dust soiling to top margin. First panel has small spot of staining from text correction peeling off. Last panel has square of staining on Silver's tail.
