Being offered are 9 prints signed Al Mettel of various scenes from New Orleans. These were acquired by my mother on a visit to New Orleans in 1940s early 1950s. They measures approximately 12 by 9 inches. See the conditions above. Included are:The Cabildo, The Pontalba Apartments, Pirates Alley, St Louis Cathedral, Court Yard of the Little Theater, Royal St. in the Vieux Carre, Old Spanish Custom House, Maspero's Exchange, Three Oaks Plantation.Where the title is written on the front of the print it also states: "courtesy of Illinois Central Railroad. On the back of each is a label that reads "Brown & Bibelow, St. Paul, Minn, Printed in the USA.
