This lot includes TWO pieces - a Locomotive and a Coal Car. The locomotive is a 224E, and the bottom tag reads as follows: "O" Gauge Locomotive/ Lubricate as per instructions/ The Lionel Corporation, N.Y./ Made in U.S. of America"The coal car reads "Lionel Lines" on one side, and "Lio- Lines" on the other due to letters missing.The bottom is marked 224W. I am NOT a train expert. That said, Other than dirt and some white and orange rust/filigree type stuff on them, these pieces seem to be in decent condition. I don't see any pieces missing. I did not clean or oil them above basic de-griming, as I'd rather leave that safely in the hands of an enthusiast/expert. The writing on the side of the coal car is in-tact on one side, but missing a few letters on the other. The items are sold As-Is.
