1.75" dia. Superb color and design with light beams from the Statue of Liberty's torch highlighting oval photos. This design was also used for exceedingly rare 1908 Taft Jugate (Hake # 1 with 2004 Revised Prices value of $4500, as well as the Bryan mate). Additional gold text below reads "Oct. 13/1858-1908/Quincy/Illinois." There was once a small fabric loop held by the collet at the top edge but this is now gone. Mirror silvering is about 97% complete. Celluloid has tiny surface wear marks showing only in reflected light. An outstanding rarity, we've sold only twice before. First example exceeded $1,400.00 and this example in Auction #202 two years ago sold at $1,176.00.
