Leitz Baseplate Flash for Leica III #159354. The baseplate was fitted to a particular camera, but for a display item, it should fit any II, III, IIIa. I do not believe this is an original combination of components, as nothing on the flash lines up with (what I presume is) the contact on the baseplate. But, it is an interesting item. Baseplate is engraved for camera #159354. Base of flash is Leitz Wetzlar. Top sections are Leitz New York. The baseplate (not marked, but likely Leitz NY) looks like it has had the opening in center enlarged and repaired. Otherwise, cosmetics are good with some finish deterioration and wear. This is a collectible item. Not usable. Return for refund if not satisfied. Buyer prepays and adds shipping. Shipping discounted for two or more auction items shipped together.
