This book is a great story about the Ocean Shore Railroad. It is about a railroad that ran along the beautiful California coast south from San Francisco toward Santa Cruz. It never accomplished its goal of reaching Santa Cruz and /was only completed as far as Tunitas. This railroad was intended to run along the very rugged coast and entailed building a number of impressive trestles. It is heavily illustrated with photographs and maps.
