Absolutely stunning piece of vintage handprinted Liberty fabric. I'm guessing this is around mid-century, but could be earlier. A wonderful orange tree design with orange blossom on a white background, the fabric is furnishing weight, so would be perfect for cushions or other interior projects. It's very rare to find handprinted Liberty fabric and this is a beautiful example. It's in excellent vintage condition - the colours are still true and bright with no holes or wear in the fabric. There is a slight light brown mark along the width of the fabric, please see last photo. I'm pretty sure it would come out when washed, but I can't guarantee it. The fabric has been used before, however, I don't believe it has ever been washed as the colours are still so crisp. Exact pattern placement may vary slightly. Measurements; length: 60cm, width: 62 cm (inc selvedge). It needs a wash before use, as it is a handprinted piece, I would recommend hand-washing it in a gentle detergent such as Woolite or the equivalent. Please contact me for any further info & do check out my other items for more mid century ceramics, vintage fabric including Heals & Liberty designs and handmade cushion covers & quilts.
