Reproduction Bru Jne 11 signed M. Massie 2020. Bru's face is deeply molded and has lovely soft features with a pleasant expression. Poured bisque head, shoulder plate and lower arms. Light blue paperweight pinched back glass eyes. Banded leather Chevrot style body that has been hand stitched from kidskin leather with cork stuffed 100% cotton liner. Upper arms and upper legs are kidskin leather over metal alloy. Shoulder ball joints and lower legs are wood polymer composition. All appendages are hinged with brass screws and nuts. The Bru head was poured with a very old mold that has an imperfection in one ear. PLEASE SEE PIC. I cannot replace many of my molds as the master molds for Byron were sold to an international company and are no longer avail in USA. One of the arm molds also has and imperfection in elbow. PLEASE SEE PIC. The legs are poured and have been elongated by hand sculpting. These imperfections do not detract from overall appearance of doll. Height is 20.5"/52cm. Head Circumference is 12"/30.48cm. All measurements are approximate . This doll is for display purposes only and NOT for play.
