Large Hebert Fire Hose Clamp Firefighting Attached to Running Board Shutoff Red For bid is this previously used Hebert Clamp. Will relieve pressure on hose line and allow changing fittings without damaging the fire hose. Great time and labor savor when it is necessary to shut off a hose line without shutting down the hydrant. Hinge on one side and spring controlled positive lever lock on the other. Simple to operate and releases quickly without damaging the hose line. Opening measures 6” side to side and I believe will accommodate a hose up to 6”. Has the number 12121 on spring leaver on side. Not sure but this could be cast aluminum or iron. Weighs 11 pounds not wrapped or boxed for shipping. Great condition with no cracks or splits. Only thing I note is red paint loss from usage. Was used by the Valley Center Fire Protection District in Valley Center, CA and initials are scratched into the front. .
