This is an Antique Large 10" Meissen Coffee Pot with Lid and Strainer in the Blue Onion Pattern.This Set is in Excellent Condition. ***NOTE There is a small, hard to see chip on the rose on the lid. This Chip is shown in close up in the last picture. Other than the small chip on the rose, there are no other chips or cracks. The Pot and Strainer are in perfect condition.The Pot has the crossed sword makers mark with two slash marks across the swords. These "slash" marks were used between 1852 - 1870. This was done by Meissen quality control. They would slash the crossed swords with 1 to 4 slashes, with four slashes being the worst quality.The Strainer has the maker's mark that was used between 1825-1924.The Pot with no lid stands 8 1/4" tall, with lid 10 1/8" tall to top of rose. The Pot is about 5 3/4" in diameter at the widest part. The top is 3 5/8" in diameter. The pot with lid weighs 2 LBS 9 OZ.The Strainer is 6 1/2" tall. The mouth is 3 5/8" in diameter. The Strainer weighs 10.7 OZ.Most of the items I sell are estate finds, and are presented to you in, as is, as found condition. They are described to the best of my knowledge.
