Large, 16" tall antique Chinese baluster vase in powder blue glaze.Kangxi style from the late 19th / early 20th CenturyHeavy nonferrous (nonmagnetic) stand. Was converted to an electric lamp somewhat clumsily as you can judge from the hole on the base. Other than this hole, the vase has not suffered any cracks, chips or repairs.The surface is a beautiful mottled powered blue with some evidence of iron deposits and a couple areas where the glaze skipped.The stand depicts dragons and has a gilded surface. It is about 2.5" tall, so the vase measures about 18.5" tall when on its stand.Please let me know if you have any questions and thank you for looking.
