Rene Lalique Montmorency Opalescent VaseThis is an amazing vase! It was made by R Lalique c 1930 and is Model 1050. It measures 8 1/8" 8 1/8". It is opalescent with a blue patina. It is signed "R LALIQUE France " in block letters on the base.Unfortunately, there are two internal cracks that were most likely created in the annealing process. One extends through two of the four rows of cherries and is approx 2 1/2" long. The other heat check is difficult to see but extends through one row of cherries and is approx 1" long. Neither of the cracks can be felt when a fingernail is run across them. I have tried to highlight both of these areas in the attached photos and just added a couple of additional photos showing the cracks from both the inside and outside of the vase. If not pointed out, this vase appears perfect. There are scratches on the bottom commensurate with age.
