In 1907, the Yukon Gold company began to build a massive system to deliver water to the Bonanza and Bear creek mining districts. This insulator is from the transmission line that ran along the water delivery system from the Twelve Mile River near the Tombstone Mountain range north east of Dawson supplying power to the electric dredges on or near the Klondike River. Total length of the project was 70 miles.This C.D. 102 S.F. Pony is in excellent condition for its age. All pin threads are smooth and intact. There is a small, smooth chip on the flat base which does not distract from its appearance, and an olive colored streak that runs down one side of the skirt. A very attractive and historical addition to any collection.NOTICE: If you are interested in bidding in more than one of my auctions, message me first to alert me.
