This is a one gallon size advertising stoneware jug from the firm of AL. Voiland of Kansas City. Advertising on the front of the jug reads AL. VOILAND WHOLESALE LIQUOR DEALERS 721 DELAWARE STREET KANSAS CITY, MO. From 1897 to 1901 Albert Voiland's wholesale liquors was located at the address stenciled on the jug. From 1903-1908 the company was known as AL. Voiland Mercantile Company and was located at 704 Delaware, then another company name change in 1909 it was known as AL. Voiland Co. The condition is very good considering it's age. There is a very tight line in the handle, right at the curve in the handle, see picture, otherwise, there is no other damage, cracks, chips or other damage.
