9.25x10.75x1" deep illustrated cardboard display box contains complete and unused set No. 3654 by Hasbro, ©1967 NPP, Inc. Set includes die-cut insert containing six 7" long colored pencils, generic pencil sharpener, instruction sheet and six "Pre-Sketched Pictures To Color." Die-cut display lid features classic image of the Silver Age Justice League of America, including - Batman, Superman, Martian Manhunter, Green Lantern, Aquaman, Flash and Wonder Woman. Lid has open corners as designed w/some creasing to edges of display windows. Bottom of box has one corner split and 1" side tear. Fine overall, but lid retains bright color and still displays nicely. Pictures each measure 8.5x10.25" and are sequentially "numbered" w/letter system. Images are as follows - Batman and Superman foiling bank robbery; Shaggy Man holding Batman and Flash in his hands, an unconscious Green Arrow (still sporting his classic Golden Age costume) lays in foreground as the tiny Atom regroups at lower right; Batman and Flash caught in mad scientist's energy beam; Superman, Batman, Flash and Hawkman battle giant foe; group shot of the JLA as seen on lid; last picture features cover image to Green Lantern #34, featuring Green Lantern battling large lizard.
