JOHNSON BROS. FRIENDLY VILLAGE LARGE PITCHER - NEW! This beautiful large pitcher was made by the Johnson Brothers Company, a division of the Wedgwood-Waterford Group. This attractive pitcher in the "Friendly Village" pattern stands 7 3/4 inches tall and measures 8 1/2 inches from the spout to the handle. It has the "village in the snow" scene on both sides. It is further accented by the familiar "Friendly Village" detailed border around the top. This elegant pitcher holds 8 cups or 64 ounces of liquid - perfect for a large gathering. I love the shape of this pitcher. As you may be able to see in the photo, there appear to be ribs or panels in the basic pitcher design. In all, there are eight vertical panels, which give the piece an interesting and unique flair. If you see glare in the photo, it is because the light is reflecting off of the panels. I assure you that it is in perfect condition. NEW, never used or displayed. The pitcher is in the original box. However, the box shows wear, which must have happened in shipping from the manufacturer. These are becoming extremely difficult to obtain and I suspect that soon they will be discontinued.
