The Poorhouse Fair and Rabbit Run by John Updike. A stated First Modern Library Edition 1965. The book is in VG- condition; tight #11 binding, bright gilt, very minimal soiling/wear, a circled red "H" on the grey Kent front end paper, a dated signature on the half-title page, no other marks on the interior pages. The "k" dust jacket is in Poor condition; decent original coloring, major wrinkles on the front panel, significant wear/scuffing on the corners, the spine top/bottom, and the folds. A two-inch tear at the bottom of the front panel has been repaired with tape on the inside of the jacket. This book does have all the markers for the first edition...... Binding #11, stated First Modern Library Edition 1965, grey (not tan) Kent end papers, a back-of-the-book ML catalog that does not include G98 Parodies, a $2.45 price on the front flap, and a running torchbearer on the dj's front panel.
