Item offered for auction. The John Rogers group 'PLAYING DOCTOR'. It is a very cute group, depicting three young children playing a doctor. As a side note, three of John Rogers' children posed for this statue. It is in excellant condition, with original paint. There are a few paint chips and waer marks. The boy's glasses are not original. A former owner's name is marked on the bottom of the group. Group was patented October 15, 1872. Signed John Rogers / New York.
